Looking for more information?  Feel free to contact us with any questions.

In the BASEF area, you can ask for help directly from BASEF using the outreach@basef.ca email address, or use the "Contact Us" link at the top of this page. Experienced science fair veterans, professional scientists, engineers and educators are available to provide chalk-talks or workshops for teachers, students and parents. These can be done in a one-on-one format, in small groups or entire classrooms. Requests from teachers often include how to run a fair, how to choose student projects or simply to have a recent BASEF participant talk to their class about the experience. Students and parents often may wish to talk to someone about doing a project in cases where their school doesn’t hold a science fair. Mentors who offer scientific expertise to students may also be available on request through outreach@basef.ca. For those not in the BASEF catchment area, try your local regional fair. Their websites and contact information can be found through www.youthscience.ca.
