Abstract The purpose of this project is to investigate the effect of volumes of cyanobacteria samples from Lake Ontario on the root growth of Allium cepa. More specifically, it explores the use of cyanobacteria-produced hormones including gibberellins, cytokinin, auxins, and abscisic acids to enhance root growth.
