Abstract Have you heard of IBD? Well if not, Inflammatory Bowel Disease (also known as IBD) is an autoimmune disease that affects the GI tract, causing inflammation. This disease is as mysterious as any other autoimmune disease, but there's something else. The IBD rates in Canada are extremely high, one of the highest in the world. But why? This project is trying to find why the prevalence of this disease is really high in this specific country.
