Abstract I wanted to create an environmentally friendly and cost effective solution to indoor lighting. My SOLAR POP design uses a 2L pop bottle, filled with water and 5ml of bleach, as a 'sun tunnel' or a 'light tube' that reflects the sunlight from the roof into an interior room. The problem that I am investigating is how my invention compares to a 40w, 60w and 100w light bulb or even just a hole in the roof covered by a flat piece of plexiglass.
