Abstract The purpose was to convey the message to let teachers allow their students to chew gum during their class time. It is scientifically proven that chewing gum helps people such as students focus and have a better attention span for anything that they are learning. The experiment will help teachers encourage and not stop their students from either chewing candy or chewing gum, because what has been noticed is students tend to pay more attention when they have gum or something that they can fidget around with to keep them occupied. This can help build a disciplined classroom as it helps both students in their work and teachers when they need their classroom to focus! .Through some research, it is concluded that chewing gum improves memory, concentration, sustained attention, and reduces stress, other research has found no such benefits.
