Abstract The purpose of our experiment is to see if the halo effect diminishes its hold with age. The halo effect is a cognitive bias in which our superficial impression of a person influences our opinion of his or her character. Our hypothesis is that the halo effect affects the younger children more because they are more naive and therefore might hold more bias.
