Abstract Discovering the way in which being gifted and having a higher IQ affects children’s (ages 7-10) sleep. Exploring why and how giftedness in children causes a lack of sleep and difficulties sleeping. Why does insufficient sleep not only not affect gifted children, but also allows them to be more intelligent than their peers when there are studies proving the consequences of poor sleep?
