Abstract The purpose of this study is to compare two age groups to see whether blood pressure readings improve over the span of a 30-minute coloring task. Recently on the market, “adult coloring books” claim to lower stress levels and this claim will be tested by asking participants to color for 30 minutes while their blood pressure and pulse readings are monitored at 15-minute intervals.
