Abstract The purpose of this project was to evaluate spread and infection risk for COVID-19 at various locations over time for multiple foot traffic cases (scenarios), with a focus on the effects of number of people and overall velocity uniformity. Spread was simulated using computational fluid dynamics methods and analysed in order to assess infection risk using a dose-response model for airborne pathogen exposure.
