| Abstract | This project develops ATLAS, a headset enhancing spatial awareness for visually impaired people. It fuses LiDAR and ultrasonic sensor data to convert obstacle distances into intuitive haptic feedback. This aims to provide real-time navigation assistance while mitigating sensor-specific limitations, such as material-based blind spots, to support improved independent mobility. |
