| Abstract | The purpose of our project is to re-purpose some commonly available plastic instead of it being diverted to the landfill. To solve the plastic waste problem, we created a pen made out of all previously recycled HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) which is a popular type of plastic. So much of these items get recycled every day and by just creating a simple item, like a pen, can reduce plastic recycling amounts greatly. |
