Abstract Our project involved designing, building, and testing a maglev train prototype to observe the mass it can hold before reaching its load capacity and collapsing on the track. MAGnetic LEVitation allows the train to float and travel at fast speeds without friction to transport a high mass of freight/passengers. This alternative transportation is energy efficient, creates less pollution and beneficial for the environment and world.
