| Abstract | The purpose of my project is to explore the implementation of a blockchain-based medical record system in Ontario. Previously, there have been proposals to create such systems for other jurisdictions. These systems have shortcomings related to unscalable structures, a lack of record security, or other problems. MediRecord uses a novel blockchain structure that realizes the benefits of typical blockchain systems while addressing the identified shortcomings. |
