Abstract The purpose was to combine the elements of psychology and longevity. The argument being that environments have greater effects than biological factors. Additionally, the choice of Japan and India is intentional. They are two countries from the same continent. Discovering the physical lifespan of citizens or identifying differences under the same circumstances helps develop explanations for Japan’s greater longevity rates.
