Abstract The purpose of this project is to streamline waste sorting and alleviate the burden on individuals to determine which items belong in recycling, compost, or general garbage bins. Through automation, the system aims to simplify the waste disposal process by employing technology to identify and sort different types of waste automatically. By removing the need for individuals to make decisions about waste categorization, the project seeks to promote more consistent and accurate waste sorting practices. This not only enhances convenience for users but also facilitates more efficient recycling and composting efforts, ultimately contributing to environmental sustainability and reducing the negative impacts of improper waste management. The automation system represents a step forward in waste management innovation, offering a practical solution to promote responsible waste disposal habits and minimize the ecological footprint associated with improper waste sorting.
