Abstract The purpose of this project is to use the nematode (worm) C. elegans as a model to investigate the effects of pesticides, on living organisms. More specifically, it is to determine if two widely used pesticides, Paraquat and Rotenone, cause damage to Dopamine-producing neurons and reduce lifespan in living organisms.
