Abstract Can Kindergarten aged students successfully open child-proof (push+turn, squeeze+turn, overlapping lock) containers in under a minute? Do certain factors such as the kid's age, gender and previous schema affect our results? What factors make the kids more inclined to open the containers? Are different containers harder to open than others based on the fatality of the contents inside? We want to then take the information we gathered and see how it can apply into future designs to try and prevent incidents involving children and household medicines/detergents.
