Abstract The Antibacterial Effects of Assorted Spices on Foodborne Illness-Causing Bacteria and Probiotic Bacteria Found in the Human Microflora The purpose of our project is to determine the antibacterial effects of assorted spices in inhibiting the growth of foodbourne illness-causing bacteria (E.coli) and probiotic bacteria (M.Luteus) found in the human microflora. Specifically, the results will enable us to find which spice is the most effective and least effective in inhibiting bacterium growth.
