Abstract Self-driving cars can reduce crashes, mitigate traffic, and their electric nature makes them environmentally-friendly. The ability for cars to "see" and make decisions accordingly cuts out human error and is what allows autonomy to be as revolutionary as it is. I used a YOLO object detection algorithm to allow cameras to detect a variety of objects including other cars, traffic lights, and people, among others.
