Abstract The purpose of this experiment was to test four electrolytes of different basic strengths and to find out what concentration was needed to make the most efficient HHO generator on a smaller scale, with less chemicals. An HHO generator is a device that produces a roughly 2:1 mixture of hydrogen gas to oxygen gas through electrolysis of water.
