Abstract The purpose of this project is to design a novel framework that uses anatomical landmarks and spatial information to automatically analyze dental periapical radiographs for each individual tooth. By synergizing deep learning with geometric measurement algorithms, the project aims to improve detection of underlying tooth pathology and quantitative assessment of bone loss and periapical lesions, enabling dental X-ray interpretation to be more affordable and accessible.
