Abstract The purpose of this project is to look at the success of phytoremediation in taking out zinc from contaminated soil using sunflower and radish plants. This project aims to understand the possible use of these plants in absorbing these heavy metals and determine what plant is the best at doing so to create a cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution for soil remediation.
