Abstract The purpose of this project is to: o Explore and express the lost opportunity of implementing piezoelectric film strips into joint flexibility tests. o Experiment different ways to create the most efficient and accurate interphalangeal joint flexibility tests. o Experiment how a simple piezoelectric element could be used to determine the bend radius of the interphalangeal joints in quantitative forms. o Explore different environments’ impact on the accuracy, efficiency and design of tests.
