| Abstract | The purpose is to determine if Velocity Made Good (VMG) analytics, originally proven in a sailboat racing app, can be scaled to minimize energy use and emissions in commercial shipping. It proposes the Ultra-Efficient Wind-Primary Cargo Vessel concept, combining slow steaming, rigid wing sails, and computational routing to decarbonize freight without breaking real-world port, weather, and economic constraints. |
