Abstract To investigate how paint colours reflect and absorb radiant heat using metal samples. I think that colour changing paint would be valuable to help reduce energy costs because the pigments of paint naturally have the ability to reflect radiant heat when metal is hot and to absorb radiant heat when metal is cold. Reducing energy required to heat or cool vehicles would reduce climate change.
