Abstract Life may exist within the subsurface ocean of Jupiter's moon, Europa. The FROST rover collects visual, spectroscopic, pH, and conductivity data from test surfaces to conduct autonomous drilling site selection. Machine learning algorithms analyze fracture patterns, oxidant concentrations, and additional measurements. Outputs are combined through a weighted decision algorithm to classify sites as favorable or unfavorable, identifying locations most likely to harbor Europan life.
