Abstract This project addresses three barriers preventing robots from real-world deployment: limited generalization, black-box decision-making, and lack of systematic improvement. It develops a hierarchical robot system where a reasoning agent(VLM) plans and monitors tasks while a domain fine-tuned action model(VLA) executes them, with transparent inner monologue for user trust, and data-driven evaluation flywheels that ensure the system improves reliably over time.
