| Abstract |
The purpose of this project will be to test building materials subject to heat exceeding 30 degrees celsius to observe how much volatile organic compounds are released. This experiment tests how wood and paint impact indoor air quality during an extreme heat event. This will simulate the effects of heat waves projected to more than double in Hamilton by 2080 due to climate change.
