Abstract This study determines the relationship between light intensity and distance in space. The closer a star is to Earth, the brighter it appears. The Inverse Square Law, a fundamental physics principle, will be proven. Light intensity is converted into illuminance in lux and resistance in kilo-ohms using mathematical equations. The results will be graphed and charted to illustrate the relationship between light intensity and distance.
