| Abstract | The purpose of this project is to find out whether a non-medical EEG headset can detect when a person is focused and use that information to trigger a medication reminder at a better time. Many people forget to take their medications because regular reminders go off when they are asleep, distracted, or not paying attention. This can lead to serious health problems and even death. Our project aims to create a smarter reminder system that only activates when the user is alert and focused. By using brain focus signals instead of a simple timer, this project tests whether attention-based reminders are more effective than random or time-based reminders. The goal is to show that brain focus signals can improve medication reminders and help people remember important health tasks more reliably. |
