Abstract Acid rain is one of the leading causes for many structures to start corroding or breaking down. It is a problem which is yet unsolved. So a need arises to use materials that can best protect itself against acid rain. To find whether asphalt, iron, stainless steel, copper, wood or plywood stands strongest against acid rain was the reason this experiment was conducted.
