Abstract The purpose of this experiment is to create a large microbial fuel cell that will act as a power source. An MFC generates electricity from electrogenic bacteria digesting nutrients in the soil that is within it, with electricity as a bi-product. We will be doing multiple tests, each with different variables. We will be testing to see if it can charge a standard AA battery.
