Abstract NIKOLA TESLA'S INVENTION OF THE COIL CAN BE USED IN MANY WAYS. TESLA WANTED TO TEST THE THEORY OF HIGH VOLTAGE AND OF HIGH FREQUENCY ENERGY, ALSO TO BE USED TO POWER LARGE DEVICES. IT WAS/IS COMMONLY USED TO POWER LIGHTS, PRODUCE MEDICINE, ELECTRIC TREATMENTS AND ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES. HE WANTED TO TRY TO FIND OUT WAYS TO LIMIT POLUTION IN THE WORLD BRINGING HIS INVENTION THE TESLA COIL HE STARTED TO WORK ON HIS COIL IN THE MID 1800THS IN 1891 HE HAD THE END PRODUCT. TESLA HAS WENT THROUGH OVER ONE THOUSAND BLUE PRINTS AND HAS TRIED TO MAKE HIS INVENTION WORK HUNDRENDS OF TIMES. HE WAS THE FIRST PERSON ON THE EARTH THAT COULD MAKE TRANSMITTABLE ENERGY WIRELESS THROUGH HIS COIL. THE ENERGY COULD REACH MILES, EACH TIME HE MADE HIS COIL HE EXPANDED EACH TIME TO REACH HIGHER VOLTAGE AND COVER MORE SPACE THROUGH RADIOACTIVE WAVES IN THE GROUND THROUGH THE COIL. THE COIL COULD PRODUCE ENERGY BY ITSELF THROUGH CERCETS PRODUCING ELECTRICAL LIGHTNING. SIMILARLY, IF A MAGNETIC FIELD FLOWS THROUGH THE CENTER OF A COILED WIRE, A VOLTAGE IS GENERATED IN THE WIRE, WHICH CAUSES AN ELECTRICAL CURRENT TO FLOW. THE ELECTRIC POTENTIAL GENERATED IN A COIL OF WIRE BY A MAGNETIC FIELD THROUGH ITS CENTER INCREASES WITH THE NUMBER OF TURNS OF WIRE. A CHANGING MAGNETIC FIELD WITHIN A COIL OF 50 TURNS WILL GENERATE TEN TIMES THE VOLTAGE OF A COIL OF JUST FIVE TURNS. HOWEVER, LESS CURRENT CAN ACTUALLY FLOW THROUGH THE HIGHER POTENTIAL, TO CONSERVE ENERGY.
