| Abstract |
My goal was to investigate the potential antifungal properties of various natural compounds and to compare their effects with a pharmaceutical antifungal agent (Fluconazole) on Saccharomyces cerevisiae, a Candida Albicans simulation. I also wanted to investigate whether natural compounds would potentiate the effect of fluconazole. Positive results could influence the development of more effective antifungal drugs, to negate the development of antifungal resistance. |
