Abstract The purpose of my experiment is to compare the strength of two psychological decision-making biases, the Compromise Effect (tendency to choose a middle-option that seems balanced between extremes) and the Attraction Effect (tendency to choose an attractive middle-option that is placed between decoys), when they occur simultaneously, in order to determine which one has greater influence on people’s choices.
