| Abstract | Over 581 million adults are diagnosed with diabetes, a number that is projected to reach over 800 million by 2050. To control their blood sugar, many diabetics need to take synthetic insulin to compensate for the insulin that their body isn’t producing. To help calculate an accurate insulin dose, this app will use nutrition and blood glucose data to calculate a dose based on standard formulas, and then use a nonlinear neural network to calculate a personalized adjustment for the dose in order to improve accuracy. |
