Abstract The purpose of my innovation project was to reduce nitrous oxide emissions from industrial facilities using Earth’s natural processes. Utilizing Z-type nitrous oxide reductase and Paracoccus denitrificans in a wet scrubber, nitrous oxide can be converted into inert nitrogen gas and water. This will help future generations to prevent nitrous oxide from causing further damage to Earth’s atmosphere and environment.
