| Abstract | The purpose of this innovation is to help people who are in a wheelchair to climb stairs, which would give them access to many places they haven’t been able to go before. The device would be portable, so that the person in a wheelchair could bring it with them when they are visiting a place that they know is not wheelchair accessible, such as family or friends’ homes. The climbing device would be powered by a motor, so it is easier for yourself and/or others around you. |
