| Abstract | Our project aims to develop a cost-effective system to prevent impaired driving by analyzing facial features and detecting alcohol presence. By integrating a camera module, an alcohol sensor, continuous load cell weight monitoring and actuators to restrict vehicle control when impairment is detected, our system offers a practical, affordable alternative to commercial-grade ignition interlock devices, intending to reduce impaired driving incidents and improve road safety. |
