Abstract Due to specific limitations, photovoltaic cells are not particularly efficient. Therefore, to remedy this problem, the purpose of our project is to use wasted heat energy to improve the overall efficiency of photovoltaics. We accomplished this by incorporating a thermoelectric generator into our photovoltaic module which converted the heat energy from the surrounding environment into electrical usable energy, increasing the efficiency of this apparatus.
