| Abstract | To synthesize Oxo-Biodegradable plastics (Nylon-6, 10) using 1,6- hexanediamine solution, 0.5M and sebacyl chloride/hexane solution, 0.17M. To compare the biodegradation of synthesized Nylon-6, 10 with commercial Oxo-Biodegradable plastic Bubble Wrap. This was done by placing the plastic samples in the soil then titrating Carbon Dioxide produced using Ba(OH)2 To determine the effect of metals in wood ash on the degradation of the Nylon-6, 10 and the Bubble Wrap. |
