Abstract An enzyme is a substance that is created by an organism (living) and acts as a catalyst in a biochemical reaction. This experiment was done to find how the different levels of a heat could affect enzymes and to see and find out at what point does the temperature cause the enzymes to stop working. It was conducted by placing heated pineapple cubes on Jell-O.
