| Abstract |
The purpose of my innovation is to construct a device, that will detect the presence of acid rain, and release nutrients to the plant to help counteract the effects. The device will measure the exact amount of rain and based on those results release the exact amount of nutrients needed to reduce the harm it could have on plants. In this project I will have to research how badly acid rain destroys nutrients and what nutrients it destroys. I will also have to research a number of other variables that could have an affect on my project. I wanted to do this project because in science class we learned about acid rain and its effects on plants and that lead to me wondering how we could reduce acid rain’s harm on plants. The device I will create will help improve the plant’s growth even after it is exposed to acid rain.
