Abstract The purpose of this project was to explore the advantages of Fiber Reinforced Concrete (FRC) against normal concrete with respect to strength and impact resistance. Both static load test and impact load tests were performed to examine the effects of fibre type and amount added to concrete against normal concrete. Three fibre types were considered, namely: carbon fibers, galvanized steel fibers and regular steel fibers.
