Abstract 1. We will use technology including a Raspberry Pi, moisture sensors, and a pump to make growing vegetables indoors easier so that Canadians can grow them in their homes, even during harsh Canadian winters. This idea could possibly be expanded to large scale greenhouses 2. Some main benefits are that it reduces the use of pesticides, preservatives and reduces emissions and global warming from transportation.
