Abstract Stress, anxiety, and depression cost the global economy roughly one trillion dollars in lost productivity. I wanted to create an application that would utilize technology in a way that could help people manage stress in their day-to-day lives. I coded a program that uses brainwave data from a Muse 2 headband (an electroencephalogram), calculates stress, and displays it through the colour of a lightbulb.
