Abstract The purpose of this study is to find out which design features in scaffolds are most frequently associated with failure in published 3D bioprinting articles. 3D bioprinting is a relatively new field of regenerative medicine, and it is still developing. Understanding common failures in scaffolds can help enhance scaffold design and improve future development of 3D bioprinting.
