| Abstract | HEMO-3 is a nanoparticle engineered to penetrate the dense tumor stroma of PDAC by using CD47-coated RBC membranes, MMP-9 Cleavage and high-affinity ligands, extending circulation to ~33 hours. Then, the 3-input 'AND' logic gate (sensing miR-21, miR-155, and pH) triggers Caspase-9 exclusively within malignant cells. By using chemistry, biology, and computer validation, Hemo-3 is an ingenious solution to ensure precise treatment (up to 96% accuracy). |
