| Abstract | The purpose of this project is to design and prototype HearGlow, an affordable wearable device that converts environmental sounds into vibration and light alerts for individuals with hearing loss. This project aims to demonstrate that accessible assistive technology can be low-cost, customizable, and effective in improving daily safety, awareness, and independence without relying on expensive commercial systems. |
