| Abstract | Atmospheric water harvesting is absorbing water from air using hydrogels, a superabsorbent polymer. Many regions around the world face water scarcity. Hydrogels can combat this problem by absorbing atmospheric water anywhere in the world. Hydrogels use their chain connections to absorb water similar to a sponge but on a much smaller level. This project explores how to increase hydrogel absorption by varying the salt concentration. |
